Many of the Town of Kiawah Island's beach trash receptacles have been unrecoverable after the recent storms in December and January. Due to this, as well as in response to community feedback received, the Town is evaluating several solutions to this issue and will involve the community in this discussion.
In the meantime, there will not be trash receptables on the beach; please take trash with you.
