On Wednesday, June 18, the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce (MPCC) will publicly recognize the outstanding efforts of more than 20 local, state, and federal agencies that responded to the May 1st hit-and-run on Sullivan’s Island—a coordinated effort that demonstrated the power of multi-agency collaboration in protecting the Lowcountry.
This First Responder Recognition will take place during the MPCC’s bi-monthly luncheon program and will include representatives from the Sullivan's Island Police and Fire Departments, Charleston County Sheriff’s Office, Town of Mount Pleasant Police and Fire Departments, FBI, Department of Homeland Security, SLED, and many others.
