For the second time in just over a year, The Obstinate Daughter on Sullivan’s Island has experienced a structure fire.
The Sullivan’s Island Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at the restaurant at 4:37 a.m. Wednesday. Officials said the fire was contained to an exterior shed. Heat from the fire caused some melting on the side of the restaurant, but the flames did not extend into the main structure.
The restaurant said it expects to remain open as usual.
