The next Kiawah Board of Zoning Appeals meeting will be held Monday, Jan. 30 at 1 p.m. in Council Chambers. This hearing is open to the public and will be livestreamed on the town’s YouTube Channel.
BZA will hear comments on the following cases at the upcoming meeting:
• Variance request at 166 Marsh Hawk Lane for the reduction of the required 30-foot rear setback for approximately 54 square feet encroachment for a proposed screen porch enclosure. (Case #BZA22-000008 | TMS# 207-03-00-023)
• Variance request at 366 Helena Court for the encroachment of the required 25-foot rear setback for approximately 56 square feet encroachment for an existing gazebo. (Case #BZA22- 000009 | TMS# 265-16-00-183)
• Variance request at 518 Ruddy Turnstone Drive for the reduction of the required 30-foot rear and 30-foot side setback for a 167-squarefoot encroachment for a proposed new single-family residence. (Case #BZA22-000010 | TMS# 207-04-00- 070)
• Variance request to modify an existing dock at 876 Kiawah Island Parkway (Mingo Point) to extend beyond the maximum extension of a dock structure into a river, stream, or channel. (Case #BZA22-000011 | TMS# 207-00-00-009)
