Are you interested in serving on a town board, commission or committee? The Mayor and Council are currently soliciting applications from citizen volunteers for appointment to the following bodies: Accommodations Tax (ATAX) Advisory Committee
- Seven (7) seats to be filled on December 13, 2022
- Each appointment is for a two (2) year term ending in December 2024
- The committee meets at least once per year at the call of the Chair
- At least two members must be from the lodging industry and at least one member shall represent local cultural organizations

Board of Zoning Appeals
- One (1) seat to be filled on December 13, 2022
- Each appointment is for a five (5) year term ending in December 2027
- The board meets on an as-needed basis at the call of the Chair
- Each member must be a registered voter of the town
- Board members must complete a six (6) hour planning orientation course during their first year and three (3) hours of continuing education in each subsequent year

Planning Commission
- Three (3) seats to be filled on December 13, 2022
- Each appointment is for a two (2) year term ending in December 2024
- The commission meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 1:30 pm
- Each member must be a registered voter of the town
- Board members must complete a six (6) hour planning orientation course during their first year and three (3) hours of continuing education in each subsequent year
