At their July 2 meeting, the Kiawah Island Ways and Means Committee, based on the Kiawah Goes Green Committee’s recommendation, approved replacing regular dog waste bags with compostable bags.
The Committee also approved replacing 38 dog waste dispensers destroyed during the Nor’easter storm last year. Once the order of the compostable bags is delivered to the Town, installation will begin.
